ITINERARY


DAY 1: LIMA ARRIVAL
Upon arrival in Lima, a representative will greet you at
the airport and you will be transferred to hotel. He will give a brief description of your itinerary and answer any questions you have and make sure you are comfortable in your hotel for the night.

DIA 2: LIMA – CITY TOUR
It will submit to Peru with a total length of Lima, Peru’s capital and most populous city. This city known as the city of kings, contains elements contrasts modern, colonial and old, that pretty much sums Peru. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991. An English speaking guide will show you the rich history of the city and its meaning. This contrasts sites residential areas and fashionable San Isidro and Miraflores, where you will see the modern Lima at its finest. After the visit, you can enjoy your free afternoon to explore the city.

DIA 3: LIMA ICA (DUNNE BUGGIE, SANDBOARD - HUACHACHINA
Early morning departure from your hotel to go to the bus station to take the bus to Ica. Our tour begins at the edge of the lagoon of Huacachina, where a variety of dunes. Here we walk in our buggy or wagon sandpit largely desert cruising up and down the dunes. Huacachina in Ica Desert offers some of the most beautiful desert landscapes of South America, with a beautiful view of our Peruvian Andes on the east side. Our professional driver will make several stops where you can enjoy the scenery and take pictures.

Then we drive to the top of a dune where our guide will show you how to practice the sport of sandboarding. After our adventure in the sand eventually we return to take a bus to Paracas where you will spend the night.

DIA 4: ISLAS BALLESTAS - RESERVA NATURAL DE PARACAS
Early morning mobility will transfer from your hotel to go towards the Paracas Bay, where begin an excursion by boat to the Ballestas, located within 45 minutes during our tour we will stop to see the enigmatic figure of the Spider Islands, a impressive layout design on the hillside in the Bay of Paracas. Ballestas Islands are located off the coast of the Paracas National Reserve, the largest wildlife sanctuary of the Peruvian coast. In these two islands inhabited by thousands of migratory birds who share their habitat with colonies of sea lions. During the tour, you will appreciate a mysterious design on the side of a hill, called “the candle”. Ending the tour you will be transferred to your hotel.

Due to its semi-tropical location it makes a bit warm, so we recommend bringing sunscreen and a hat to protect from sunlight. Once you have visited all the islands back to the dock. After the return of the tour you will start your tour of the Paracas Reserve where observe large groups of flamingos feeding in the sea and have a better view of these beautiful birds require a short hike to a small roundabout. DIA 5: LINEAS DE NAZCA - AREQUIPA
Located on the plains of the same name. There, you can see the many geo glyphs that represent figures of animals and plants, which are distributed in a huge labyrinth of lines, trapezoids, triangles and spirals, recorded over the land and preserved for almost 2,000 years. Some scholars believe that they were created by extraterrestrial life because of their mysterious and supernatural design. Ending the tour in Nazca take a bus to Arequipa, considered the White City. In reaching this city will be transferred to your hotel by our assistant. Will the rest of the day for you to enjoy or to adjust to the altitude.

DIA 6: AREQUIPA - CAÑON DEL COLCA
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel to begin the journey to the Colca Canyon. On the way we stop at the National Reserve of Pampa de Cañahuas where you will observe wild herds of llamas and alpacas in their natural environment. After passing a few hours finally we arrive at the Colca Valley. Where you will enjoy a beautiful landscape, and can capture beautiful images. Then we descend to Chivay so you can relax in your hotel or if you want you can visit the hot springs at your option.

DIA 7: CAÑON DEL COLCA - PUNO
After breakfast, you will head towards the Cruz del Condor, allowing you to get a spectacular view of one of the deepest canyons in the world. The Colca Canyon is the second deepest canyon in the world, twice as deep as the Grand Canyon in the US and a rich pre-Inca history and if conditions permit will have the great opportunity to make great photographs of the largest and most impressive bird in the world: the majestic Condor. After a short walk through the deep canyon, you will return to Chivay where you board a bus to Puno (6 hours). At the bus terminal in Puno a representative will be waiting to take you to your hotel.

DIA 8: PUNO - LAGO TITICACA
Today you will have an unforgettable day trip by boat on Lake Titicaca, the world’s highest navigable lake visit as the first item the floating islands of the Uros, ancient culture which houses a series of artificial islands made of reeds growing in the same lake. After leaving this beautiful place, it will continue its journey to the island of Amantani where you will meet the locals and walk by a beautiful mountain that will give you an amazing view. Here you spend the night at the home of a local family who will share with you their culture and customs.

DIA 9: PUNO - CUSCO
After breakfast in the morning you will be transferred to the bus station to board the tourist bus to the city of Cusco. This path is spectacular as it travels over the vast plateau. The bus will make several stops at museums, ruins and small authentic villages for lunch. Arriving in Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, a representative will be waiting to take you to your hotel.

DIA 10: VALLE SAGRADO – AGUAS CALIENTES
Discover the best of the Sacred Valley through this route will travel parallel to the Vilcanota River 4 km away. This is a great long stretch of green parks, mountains in high terraces and contains numerous picturesque villages, as well as lively festivals and the best handicrafts in Peru. First visit the archeological park of Pisac with perfect and interesting lithic constructions., After a walk through this area to visit the typical market of Pisac to explore and buy handicrafts. It is famous for its craft market in the main square where we will have the opportunity to learn about the customs and traditions of its people. They offer their colorful woven cloth, alpaca wool, reproductions of antique jewelry and much more. After a delicious lunch in Pisac, following the route will enter Ollantaytambo, one of the most important archaeological sites of the ancient Empire, known for its “platforms” (terraces built into the hillsides for agricultural purposes). This beautiful village still has the picture of the Inca urban planning, housing, streets and water channels which are guarded by an imposing fortress. In Ollantaytambo you take the train to Aguas Calientes to explore Machu Picchu early in the morning. You will be met at the train station and transfer to the hotel of your choice.

DIA 11: MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
Early in the morning, wake up to catch the first bus to the ruins for sunrise In this fascinating experience, a specialized guide will travel through time explaining the importance of the use and meaning of different parts, and enlighten us history of the Inca culture. After the tour will have free time to investigate, take all possible photos and recharge in the city of stone, and at the agreed time descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon we take the train that will bring us back to Ollantaytambo, where our bus will be waiting to return to Cusco and drop us off at our respective hotels.

DIA 12: CUSCO - CITY TOUR - DEPARTURE

Today early in the morning you will have a guided tour of the various sites, including the Cathedral, Plaza de Armas, the Temple of the Sun Qoricancha. This tour will also take him to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman and Qenqo. Ending our tour, we will take you to the restaurant for lunch and finally transfer to the airport for your return flight.
